Help for the handicapped

To our knowledge, apart from the Kasira Farm retirement resort, there is no other old persons home in Thailand particularly caring for the physically handicapped foreigners.

At the Kasira farm retirement village 4 studios have been modified to welcome people using wheel chairs.
The pathways through the park are also usable by persons using wheelchairs. The bungalows are also in the process of being altered to give a better access to wheelchair users. The caring staff can accompany the handicapped retirees right up to the bathroom. The trained staff will accompany the physically handicapped seniors on excursions in the beautiful rural surroundings, to the beach or to town. It goes without saying that we pick up our handicapped persons upon their arrival at the airport (as we do for all our Pattaya pensioners) and as soon as they set foot in Thailand, the employees of the Kasira Farm pensioners home take complete care of their transportation everywhere and the multilingual Swiss doctor and nursing auxiliary of the Thai retirement village give the relevant medical care to the pensioners.
